What’s keeping YOU from reaching your potential?

Pull back the covers on any of your excuses and you’ll find one thing.

Fear.

  • I don’t know how to do that. (I’m afraid I’ll do it wrong. I’m afraid it won’t work. I’m afraid I’ll look foolish.)
  • I’m not ready yet. (I’m afraid to start.)
  • I don’t like sales and marketing. (I’m afraid I’ll be rejected. I’m afraid people won’t like me.)

And it sure as hell doesn’t help to be surrounded by successful people – our role models – who appear to be absolutely fearless and confident.

We compare our insides to their outsides and come up short.

We start to think that other people are better than us, more capable than we are…and that because we’re scared, maybe we’re just not “built” to live our dreams.

Fear is what I talk about. Because I should know.

I was held prisoner by my fears since I was a child. I settled instead of going after what I really wanted. I missed opportunities. I missed out on my life. (So many things I said “no” to. So many regrets.)

A few years ago I decided to conquer my fears by facing them head on and doing the things that scared me.

These stories form the basis of the presentations I offer.

The Courage to Stand Out

No One Died: Adventures in Living your Dream

It’s all about you and your audience

I will respect your agenda and the time you allot for my presentation. (I can adjust either for a time slot of 20 – 60 minutes.)

I will customize the presentation for your audience.

Entertaining
I’m a firm believer in the “tell a story, make a point” method of speaking. (No boring lecture here.)

Funny
As a former stand up comic, I can’t help using a fair bit of humour.

Interactive
Longer presentations include interactive (fun!) activities.

Warning: NOT your typical speaker
