It’s me helping you turn your expertise into products and courses

If you’re an expert (coach, consultant, adviser or speaker) – developing products and courses that teach your clients how to do things is an excellent business move. These can become a source of revenue for you…and a source of support/information/help for your clients. Wins all around.

That doesn’t mean it’s easy.

There are questions…

What do I teach? How? Do I start with an e-book? Or should I do a teleclass? What about membership programs?

And worries…

Creating an information product can take a LOT of time. What if it doesn’t sell? What if my customers don’t like it and they all ask for refunds?

A little collaboration can help a lot

Idea Bouncing is for people in the following situations:

• You’re thinking about developing an educational product. You have an idea, you’re not sure if it’s any good. (Or you have lots of ideas and can’t decide which one is the best.)
• You know you need an educational product, but you have no idea what to teach. (You may also be thinking that you have nothing to offer or you’re not unique enough.)
• You already have a product, let’s say an e-book, and you want to alter/expand it into a teleclass or a live workshop. (Or vice versa.)

I can help you by:

• Taking your idea for an educational product or service and expanding on it – usually by making it into multiple products, delivering it in different formats or packaging it with your services.
• Finding ways to make the development process easier. (Some people call this the Pareto Principle or the 80/20 rule – I like to call it Applied Laziness. Either way, the outcome is the same: we identify the 20% of the work that will get you 80% of the return.)
• Helping you map out a structure for your product. Deciding what to include and how to deliver it.
• Brainstorming ideas for activities and exercises that help learners engage with your material, learn more from it (and be more inclined to rave about it to their friends).

How it works

1. You click on the “Buy Now” button below.

2. After you make your payment, you’ll be redirected to a form to fill out with a few questions, so we can get really clear on how I can help. (You don’t have to fill it in right away, you can think about it first!)

3. Once you’ve answered the questions, I’ll send you an email with a link to my super nifty online scheduler so you can book a convenient time for our call.

4. I will call you at the appointed time and date.

5. We’ll chat. Enthusiasm will erupt.

6. I’ll send you the audio recording of our discussion along with my report. This will be a summary of what we discussed on the call, any new thoughts that occur after our call (it’s an introvert thing!) and links to any other resources I think might be helpful to you.

How long will this take?

The live phone call is usually about 30 minutes. Sometimes we can finish up in about 20, other times we don’t get going until the half hour mark. (The time goes fast!)

Allow for 45 minutes, just in case we need a bit more time.

(Hint: The more time you spend on the pre-call questions, the more value you’ll get out of the call.)
